Who am I? 

This man is a former Cricket player, one of the best ever, 

Holding his cricket bat he was very clever, 

   

And with his #1 worldwide ranking (one he will never lose,) 

With thousands of spectators he will amuse,  

 

With his long and straight hit, 

good vibes he does emit, 

 

Playing cricket was his life, 

Even though he gained some strife 

 

Even when the country was boiling to the brim, 

He would never let that stop him, 

 

As a kid he would be kind to everyone he saw, 

And they would just listen with awe, 

 

As he grew he was known for cricket, 

With an iron bat that would protect the wicket,
